In the middle of the night
My hand ached with abandon
Burned burnt bright
Like merch did for fandom

I ran to the bathroom
No time to waste
Eyes lit in gloom
as pain made my haste

Water poured out
And burnt hand went in
Was it arthritis, gout
Or nights made from sin?

Emerged from the water
My mouth drained of spit
A glow of macabre
And a mark of rabbit

Wow, creepy! It sort of reminds me of Harry Potter..you know what I mean? The whole Voldemort struggling for life thing.
